Mobile App Empowers Students to Learn Anytime, Anywhere - Silicon Valley High School

Silicon Valley High School (SVHS) is thrilled to announce the launch of its first mobile application for both Apple and Android devices, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to providing flexible, accessible, and high-quality education to our students.

The SVHS Android app is designed to empower students to learn at their own pace, anytime and anywhere. With this app, students can now access our extensive library of video-based courses, engage with interactive quizzes, and participate in discussions with their peers and teachers, all from the convenience of their Android smartphones and tablets.

“We are excited to launch our Android app, which represents a major step forward in our mission to make education more accessible and adaptable to the needs of our students,” said David Smith, Founder and CEO of Silicon Valley High School. “We understand that today’s students lead busy lives, and we want to provide them with the tools they need to learn on their own terms.”

The SVHS Android app seamlessly integrates with our existing online platform, allowing students to pick up right where they left off, whether they’re at home, on the go, or in the classroom. While most course content is accessible through the app, some activities, such as proctored tests, will still require the use of a PC with a webcam.

Key features of the SVHS Android app include:

  • Access to our full library of video-based courses
  • Interactive quizzes and assignments
  • Progress tracking and course completion status
  • Downloadable content for offline viewing
  • Notifications for course updates and deadlines

Schools adopting the SVHS AlwaysOnline Curriculum will soon be able to provide their own private labeled mobile apps to their students, with their school’s branding, look and feel.

We are also excited to announce that we are actively developing an iOS app for Apple devices, which will be released in the near future. Stay tuned for updates on this development.
