Take the Stage.
Take Your Future.
Dancers, musicians, actors, and artists across the country are earning accredited high school diplomas while performing professionally. No missed rehearsals. No falling behind during the run. Education that follows your spotlight.
"I have to choose between the production and my grades" — Sound familiar? It shouldn't have to be this way.
Traditional School Wasn't Built for Performers
Rehearsals, auditions, and tours don't follow school calendars. Productions demand everything. Something has to give—but it doesn't have to be your future.
Tech Week Conflicts
Twelve-hour rehearsal days don't leave room for homework, let alone attending classes. Traditional schools penalize you for pursuing your craft.
Touring & Travel
Auditions require travel on school days. Regional and national competitions pull you out for weeks. Tours mean leaving school entirely.
Schedules That Shift
This week it's morning rehearsals. Next week it's evening performances. The week after, everything changes again. Fixed class times can't keep up.
"Just an Extracurricular"
Your school calls it extracurricular. You call it your career. Traditional education wasn't designed to treat performing arts as a legitimate path.
Falling Behind
Every performance season means falling behind. Every tour means catching up. The cycle of absence and anxiety never ends.
The Impossible Choice
You can take the role, or you can keep your grades. You can go on tour, or you can stay enrolled. Why should it be one or the other?
Your art demands everything. Traditional school demands everything too. The Academy was built so you never have to choose between the stage and your diploma.
Every Kind of Performer. One Flexible Diploma.
From Broadway stages to local studios, Academy students are performers first — and graduates, too.
Dancers
Ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, competition — training that demands your whole body and your whole day.
Musicians
Conservatory-bound, gigging, recording, or touring — practice schedules that don't fit between bells.
Actors
Film sets, theater productions, commercial work — auditions don't wait for the school day to end.
Vocalists
Solo artists, choir members, recording sessions — a career that starts before graduation.
Your Schedule Changes Every Show. Your School Doesn't Have To.
Rehearse all day. Study all night. Or flip it around. The Academy works on your schedule, whatever that looks like this week.
12-Hour Rehearsal Days
You're in the theater from 8am to 10pm. There's no time for classes, and that's okay. Courses are available 24/7 — pick them up before or after, or wait until the run ends.
Different City Every Week
Your performance takes you to three states in two weeks. Your education comes with you. Log in from the hotel, the bus, or backstage. Your coursework doesn't care about your zip code.
Callbacks on a Tuesday
The callback is in LA on Tuesday. The workshop is in New York on Thursday. You don't have to choose between the opportunity and your transcript. You just go.
Time to Accelerate
Between shows, between seasons, between projects — that's when you can sprint through coursework. Self-pacing means you bank progress when life slows down, so it's there when life speeds up.
Your Art Isn't Extracurricular. Neither Is Your Education.
Traditional schools treat performing arts as something to fit around "real" education. A nice hobby. An after-school activity. We disagree.
At the Academy, your performance career and your diploma are fully compatible. We don't ask you to compartmentalize your life into "school" and "everything else." We recognize that the discipline, creativity, and work ethic you bring to your art are exactly the skills that make you an exceptional student.
Some of our students are performing on Broadway. Others are training at conservatories. Others compete nationally in dance. All of them do school their way.
A Week in the Life of an Academy Performer
There's no such thing as a "typical" week. That's the whole point.
Morning Rehearsal & Afternoon Study
Run choreography all morning, grab lunch, then knock out a history module and half a math unit.
Callback Day — No School Needed
Fly to the callback. Focus completely. School can wait — nothing is due, nothing is missed.
Deep Study Day
No rehearsal today — sprint through three lessons, check in with Sage AI tutor on a tough concept, get ahead for the weekend.
Show Nights
Three consecutive show nights. Your only job is to perform. Coursework pauses completely — no penalties, no falling behind.
Recovery & Light Study
Sleep in, recover, then ease into a couple of lessons from the couch. A perfect balance.
We Take the Diploma as Seriously as They Take Their Art
Your child's performing career is real. Their education should be, too. Here's what you should know.
Rehearse. Perform. Learn. Repeat.
