Train Like a Champion.
Learn Like a Champion.
Elite athletes don't train on a traditional school schedule. Why should they learn on one? The Academy works around your training—not against it.

The Problem Every Athlete Knows
Traditional schools force athletes to choose between their sport and their education. You shouldn't have to choose.
"I miss too much school for training and competitions."
No classes to miss. Study at 5 AM before practice or 11 PM after the game.
"I travel constantly for tournaments and can't keep up."
Your courses travel with you. Self-paced means no falling behind.
"My coach wants more time, but I'm already behind in classes."
No conflicts between your coach and your teachers. Ever.
"I need NCAA-approved courses, but my school's options are limited."
Every Academy course is NCAA approved. High School Code: 851733.
"I'm exhausted from trying to do both."
Study when your body and mind are ready—not when a bell rings.
"My teachers don't understand my schedule."
Our teachers work with athlete schedules every day. They get it.
She Became the World's #1 Player While Earning Her Diploma With Us
Anna Leigh Waters completed all four years of high school through SVHS Academy—while simultaneously becoming the most dominant athlete in the history of professional pickleball.
Ranked World No. 1 in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, Anna Leigh needed a school that could keep pace with a professional tour schedule, constant travel, and the demands of competing at the highest level. SVHS gave her that flexibility without compromising her education.
She didn't put her education on hold to become a World champion. She did both—at the same time.
Before enrolling at SVHS, I was facing the challenges of rigid class schedules. Teachers didn't understand or care about the demands of gymnastics training, competitions, and navigating injuries that required doctor visits, physical therapy and recovery. As a gymnast, I train six days a week. Competitions are often on Fridays or require travel, and I spend at least one day a week in physical therapy and multiple days at a sports recovery center.
Being in a flexible, self-paced program has changed my life and lowered my stress level, allowing me to manage my own schedule. I work ahead when I know I have upcoming competitions, and if I get injured, it's ok to fall behind without my grade dropping. I can work from the car, in the doctor's waiting room, at sports therapy, on weekends, in the middle of the night, on a plane—anywhere and at anytime.
My support teacher is encouraging, helpful, and always there when I need her. The flexibility that SVHS provides has allowed me to reach my full academic potential while still pursuing my gymnastics dreams. This program is perfect for anyone juggling the demands of high-level sports with the desire to receive a strong education that prepares them for the future.

How It Works for Athletes
No bell schedules. No permission slips. No making up work after a tournament. Here's how Academy athletes structure their education.
Train When You Need To
Morning ice time. Afternoon court sessions. Two-a-days before a tournament. Your training schedule comes first. Courses are available 24/7—there's no class to miss.
Study at 5 AM before practice, 10 PM after a game, or anywhere in between.
Travel Without Falling Behind
Competing across the country—or around the world? Your coursework travels with you. Login from a hotel room, an airport lounge, or your team bus. No makeup assignments, no catch-up stress.

Questions Every Sports Parent Asks
You want your child to pursue their athletic dreams and get a real education. Here's how the Academy delivers both.
"Is this a real diploma? Will colleges accept it?"
Yes. The Academy is dual accredited by Cognia and WASC—the same organizations that accredit traditional public and private schools. Our graduates have been accepted to every Ivy League school, Stanford, MIT, and 300+ universities worldwide. The diploma is identical in standing to any brick-and-mortar institution.
"Will NCAA eligibility be affected?"
Not at all. Every Academy course is NCAA approved. Our high school code is 851733. Coaches and recruiters can verify our standing directly with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Your child's eligibility is fully protected.
"Will my child actually have teachers, or is it just videos?"
Every student has credentialed teachers who grade assignments, provide feedback, and are available for support. Monthly supervising teacher sessions are included, and additional one-to-one tutoring is available. This isn't a video library—it's a school with real instruction.
"How will I know they're keeping up with coursework?"
Every student has a pacing guide that shows exactly where they are versus where they should be. Parents have full visibility into progress, grades, and completion status. You'll never wonder if they're falling behind.
"What if athletics doesn't work out? Is the education strong enough on its own?"
Absolutely. The Academy isn't a placeholder—it's a rigorous, accredited academic program that prepares students for university admissions on its own merits. Whether your child becomes a professional athlete or a business leader, they graduate with a transcript that opens every door.
